My name is Martin Marier. I am a composer, a performer and a digital musical instrument (DMI) designer. I obtained a doctoral degree in composition under the supervision of Jean Piché in 2017. My work focuses on electroacoustic music and digital musical instruments. My artistic practice generally involves the sponge, a DMI I invented and use for most of my pieces. You can read more about it in my doctoral thesis, my Master’s thesis and on this website.
